The Demographic and Economic Analysis (DEA) section of the Governor's Office of Management and Budget, under the direction of Juliette Tennert, manages, analyzes and disseminates economic, demographic and fiscal data in order to contribute to improved planning, budgeting and policy-making in Utah State Government.

The Utah Data Guide is a quarterly newsletter for data users which has been published since 1982. Articles in the Data Guide focus on recently released data from federal sources with a special emphasis about Utah.
